GALLERY - WEST 21ST STREET, NY
For the Tanya Bonakdar Gallery RMA renovated of an old taxi garage and converted it into an exhibit space for contemporary photography and sculpture. The exhibit space is located on the second floor, so an inviting transition in the form of a warm pine and blackened steel stair entices visitors to enter from the street. Rogers Marvel refurbished existing skylights and exposed building structure emphasizing the height of the ceilings and the scale of the space.
